【KYOTO】Kitano Tenman-gu Shrine “Bai-en Garden Opening and Plum Blossom Festival”
At the beginning of February till the end of March when the plum blossom comes to the best time, Bai-en Garden of Kitano Tenman-gu Shrine of Kyoto will be opened to the public. There are about 50 varieties of plums and 1,500 plum trees bloom beautifully forming the splendid scenery! During the Plum Blossom Festival on February 25 (Mon), tea ceremony named "Nodate Tea Ceremony" will be held and you are able to taste the delicious Matcha tea and sweets served by Geiko. Admission fee (with tea & sweets): Adult 800 yen, Child 400 yen. Nodate Tea Ceremony ticket fee (necessary for tea ceremony participation, pre-purchase is required at shrine office) ● Please take the bus from Hankyu Saiin Station.
