【KYOTO】Japan Umeshu Festa in Kyoto 2019
From September 13 (Fri) to 16 (Mon/Public Holiday), Kyoto's Kitano Tenmangū Shrine will play host to "Japan Umeshu Festa in Kyoto 2019" - a festival offering the chance to taste and compare Japanese plum wine, or umeshu, from all corners of Japan.
With over 140 varieties of umeshu on offer, you can take your time tasting each wine, looking for that perfect one.
Some of the umeshu on offer includes pulpy Nigori Umeshu, Brandy Umeshu, citrus blended umeshu, and umeshu made with Japanese sake.
There will also be exclusive Japanese plum infused snacks such as Kyogashi X Umeshu sweets and Kyotsukemono X Umeshu Japanese pickles available as well.
Same-day Tickets: 1,500 yen (to be exchanged for 16 "Umesen" festival coins)
